What makes our course stand out?
By choosing Canny College, students gain numerous advantages:
Our Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License Pre-Exam Online Course allows qualified individuals to obtain a Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License (443A), recognized throughout Canada. With this license, graduates become eligible to apply for the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), which offers the opportunity to obtain permanent residency in Canada. Developed by the Canadian government to address the shortage of skilled trade labor, the FSTP aims to attract and retain skilled tradespeople from around the world. Operating through the Express Entry immigration system, the FSTP has the lowest entry point within Express Entry, providing a streamlined pathway for individuals with a Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License to immigrate to Canada. Furthermore, we provide the support of a professional immigration lawyer to assist you on your immigration journey.
Additionally, our course opens doors for entrepreneurial opportunities. Graduates can establish their own Mechanic Contractor business in Canada, potentially earning more income. Whether you join a franchise, purchase an existing mechanic business, or set up your business in a high-demand area, the possibilities are endless.
Furthermore, completing our course allows you to apply for high-paying jobs (NOC 72400) in Canada's thriving job market. With an average salary of $40+ per hour, working in Canada offers better income and more benefits for you and your family. Your children will have access to free education and healthcare, and your spouse will obtain an open working visa in Canada. Moreover, acquiring more than one year of Canadian work experience enhances your eligibility for additional immigration points, bringing you closer to obtaining permanent residency in Canada.
Choose Canny College and embark on a journey towards a rewarding career and a bright future in Canada.
Who is eligible to enroll in our course?
Individuals with at least five years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright), regardless of the country they gained their experience, are welcome to pursue their skilled trades license and work in Canada. Given Canada's significant shortage of skilled tradespersons in the labor market, the country enthusiastically encourages foreign-trained individuals to join the workforce. The only requirement is to pass a multiple-choice skilled trades license writing exam in Canada. The passing mark for the exam is 70%, and our comprehensive red seal skilled trades license exam preparation course equips you with everything you need to succeed.
Moreover, individuals who have completed an apprenticeship, which typically consists of approximately five years of on-the-job training (about 90% of the apprenticeship) and some in-school training (about 10% of the apprenticeship), are eligible to enroll. An apprenticeship is a mutually beneficial training agreement between someone seeking to learn a skilled trade and an employer in need of a skilled worker. Throughout the apprenticeship, individuals earn at least minimum wage while honing their skills and knowledge to become qualified tradespersons or journeypersons. Upon completion, apprentices receive a Certificate of Apprenticeship, a highly sought-after proof of training and experience often required by employers.
Additionally, individuals with training and experience from other Canadian provinces or territories, or from other countries that meet the apprenticeship requirements in Ontario, can also assess their eligibility to take the exam in Canada.
Regardless of your background, our course is designed to support your journey toward obtaining a skilled trades license and pursuing a rewarding career in Canada.
What documents are required for the license exam?
Students should gather the following before the exam:
